Data comes in all forms and from many sources. Analysis of this data is only of value if the starting point, the primary quality, of the data is secure and repeatable. COUNTERPLAN analysis is dependent on the data and on the type of analysis that is performed.

At COUNTERPLAN we develop bespoke analysis so that data can be better understood through mapping to provide a visual representation of, sometimes, complex local area economic analysis.

The methodologies that we use are founded on published research literature and standard economic formula,  COUNTERPLAN comparisons can then be made on an area by area basis. Small local areas can be agglomerated into borough or district boundaries and then into regional comparisons.

Our data analysis is always defined by a repeatable and defensible methodology. The quality of COUNTERPLAN data analysis is defined by the time spent on working out the correct and appropriate methodology to use, based on the answers that need to be discovered.
